In a surprising collaboration that defies usual forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of banned ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.

The adventure centers on "strange tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Extra Features
